Tut Tut, Looks Like Rain

So it's about 0630. Power's been out since 0130ish. Wind's been gaining steadily all night. Just looked out the window to see that we forgot to secure the garbage can-the lid is on one side of the yard, the can is on the other. Am heating water for instant coffee. The storm is noisy! The metal shutters rattle with the rain thrown at them and the trees are bending further and further. Tom is listening to (and singing along with) 'jumpin jack flash' by the rolling stones. We're in good spirits. :-D phones still seem to be working, water is still on.
