so. Julie signed up the day before me and she is IN. Yesterday, I had over five hundred people in front of me, and right this second it is only 237. WOOOOOOOOOO!

I finished the first of the new pair of tabi socks last night...although I really like the construction of short row toe and heel in a toe-up sock, I really think these particular socks are better constructed top down. I am going to try another toe up tabi, but I think I have to change a couple of things (like the width of the larger toe cap)...does anyone have a stretchy bindoff they really like (NOT the one that's just like kitchener stitch, PLEASE - the whole reason I learned toe up after exactly two socks was to avoid ever having to do kitchener again)...I searched in the internets for some good ones, but the one I thought would work really well (and therefore used) came out kind of lumpy and not very stretchy at all.
