Math is kewl. Even simple math. I frogged the scarf to start over with a plan. So I had to do some simple math to get a number of stitches to cast on that is both (multiples of 4) plus 1 AND (multiples of 3) plus one...and will make a good width for a scarf. I've settled on 37. :)

am waiting until after the lunch hour to head up to campus to print some sock stitch patterns for later...then I shall kickoff the southern summer of socks in style!
