New Page 1Just filed for unemployment. A system paid into for work I've done that I should be allowed to reap the benefits of since I was laid off through no fault of my own. Took the efforts of three different people to convince me to view it in that light. I was pretty sure unemployment was for slackers. But really, I didn't do anything wrong, and didn't deserve to lose my job. And it's not like medicare or social security will exist when I'd be theoretically old enough to receive them.

I think it'll be enough to get me through til the semester starts, and that would be awesome. Back to school for a degree in biotechnology would make me happy. Back to school for anything would probably make me happy, though. :)
