calculus is going to be a challenge, but doable, I think.
genetics is review.
o chem is going to require focus and concentration and attendance and study.
biochem is review.
so not a bad list, and not a great one either.
dunno about the bch TA yet, he seems like kind of a tool. super quiet, no leadership skills...not the person I really want in charge of the class...but maybe he'll be an easy grader. or turn out to be funny.
calc prof is what one expects, stereotypically, and a pretty friendly guy. the part of the class that sucks is the webwork. all the homework is online and graded by a computer and has to be entered in a particular format (that changes capriciously)...I hate the Pearson MyMathLab application. hate. it.
o chem is what I expected, and am glad I made sure to be in Dr. Cummings class again. she is awesome. I will learn this stuff yet!!
genetics guy said specifically that he tests out of the book, that the problems are at the very least modeled after the chapter problems in the book, and at most they are taken directly from it without even changing the numbers. so I think I'm in the clear, since I bought the book. read chapter one in its entirety, am well into chapter two. and our first exam is only on those.
should probably get to work on the rest of it.
cheers, internet.
