anyone who's reading this should probably know

I'm kinda freaking out about this whole lump in my throat thing. Test results back, regular unr clinic physician says everything's normal, results forwarded to specialist, who heard "normal" and immediately said "weeeeellll, there's some interpretation to be done."

of note: proteins are no longer flipped (a concern the last time I had blood tested), but red cells are macrocytic (which is a bit odd, but may be due to a longtime vitamin deficiency - any one reading this knows there are days when I eat ice cream for breakfast) but they're working properly; white count is decidedly low, but cell types are proportionate as they should be.

low white count makes me sad, since I'm really trying to not get sick, but I guess that just means I need to keep up the obsessive hand washing. :)

In any event, the Hashimoto's is inactive, and I am asymptomatic of everything. I guess we're just going to keep measuring the size of the arachnid eggball every so often and hope it's not growing fast all of a sudden...had a goiter for years and years, never been an issue...never sized it before either, and maybe I'm just a little shocked at the baseline size...

it's kinda like a time bomb in my throat, and it's scary as hell, y'all.

Wow, I'm glad you're able to have it checked out, at least. You're in my thoughts!
