Tonight

1) if you invite a bunch of people to see your band, warn them if it's a *cover* band

2) Aaliyah really was a fabulous talent ended too soon

3) I like and respect people who get out of their "comfort zones" and actually have a good time

4) No one is a mind reader; if you can't talk about it, you probably shouldn't be doing it.

5) Dinner with friends and family is always worth the drive
